On Tuesday, November 26, the Gabelli School of Business held “Friendsgiving” to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The turnout was phenomenal and all who attended were treated to a delicious feast of traditional Thanksgiving foods including turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and more. It was a great way to kick off the holiday break! Many thanks to all members of the Student Success Center for their tireless efforts in making this truly joyful occasion possible!

Season Two episodes 5 and 6 of the "Sports Business Podcast with Prof C."

The Gabelli School of Business M.S. in Quantitative Finance was ranked #15 in QuantNet’s Best Financial Engineering Programs for 2025, an impressive jump from last year’s ranking of #21. Congratulations and thank you to Qing Sheng, Ph.D., program director, and to all faculty members teaching in the program, as well as to the admissions and marketing teams, and all the members of the Student Success Center in academic advising, career development, and student engagement. Their dedication, tireless work, and enthusiastic support has made the MSQF program a tremendous success!

The recent Professional M.B.A. networking event brought together alumni, current students, and prospective students for an evening focused on building connections and fostering collaboration. Attendees engaged in conversations about career growth, industry insights, and the impact of the PMBA program on professional development.
Prospective students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the program from alumni and current students, gaining valuable perspectives on its culture and benefits. The event highlighted the strength of the PMBA community and its commitment to creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and mentorship.

Poets & Quant’s (P&Q) recently released 2024-2025 ranking of the best Executive MBA (EMBA) programs in the US, has ranked the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business EMBA at #10. An impressive jump from its #12 ranking in 2023-2024. This newly announced standing positions the program as being among the most elite in the country. Congratulations to Francis Petit, Ed.D., associate dean for global initiatives and partnerships and director of the EMBA program, and all of those who made this possible!

On Thursday, November 14, the Gabelli School held a Commuter Students' Association Midday Breakfast, a popular, stress-relieving event for commuter students as they prepare for final exams. Jesús Aceves-Loza, Ph.D., assistant dean for first year students; Marisa Totino Villani, Ph.D., senior assistant dean for undergraduate studies; Brian Dunn, Ph.D., assistant dean for honors opportunities and dual degree programs; and Megan Decker, assistant dean for sophomores, served breakfast to commuter students.

On Thursday, November 7, the Gabelli School of Business hosted an amazing Full-time M.B.A. alumni gathering at the Ascent Lounge in New York City. Attendees enjoyed great food and drinks as they networked and caught up with old friends. It was a wonderful evening! A special thanks to Alex Markle, Ph.D., director of the Full-time M.B.A. program, and Linda Agnew, Full-time M.B.A administrative manager, for making this event such a success.
